OR PROJECT TWENTY-FIRST CENTURY
We will establish teams to begin constructing this Plan and Strategy that will implemented after the next Presidential Election. If you would like to lead a team then we welcome you.
Steve Zolno, and accomplished author of books on Democracy has made a start, and together we have developed a Table that makes a start to this process. This will be expanded and defined in detail until it provides guidance in every field and for all actions and departments. Our Economic and Political Strategy of making the USA a better nation will influence this process.

Project 2029
Project 2025, written in April, 2022 by ultra-conservatives, including members of the Heritage Society, is a blueprint for radical reversal of the democratic principles upon which the United States was founded. Essentially, it is a guide for how to turn the US into an autocracy. Kevin Roberts, president of the Heritage Foundation, established Project 2025 with the goal of "building a governing agenda, not just for next January but long into the future." A co-author is Russell Vought, a self-described Christian nationalist, now confirmed by the Senate to lead the Office of Budget Management, which administers the $6.75tn federal budget.
Our proposed Project 2029 is a guide for the reinstatement of democratic principles. It is a work in progress that will be continually updated by individuals who want to understand and advocate for how those principles can be restored to our nation. The role of government, as stated in our Constitution, is to protect the rights of “We the People” equally. It should be clear to all Americans that the Constitution is under attack.
Below is a summary of some of the key points of Project 2025 compared with the proposed principles of Project 2029.

Eliminate greenhouse fuels. Emphasis on alternative energy sources: hydrogen and solar. A national program for transition of the US economy out of fossil fuels to renewables.
Use the EPA to enforce climate goals. Fine industries that pollute. A binding contract between nations to transition fossil fuel companies funded by wealthy countries who do the polluting.
Congress
The Project encourages Congress to require federal contractors to be 70% American citizens, ultimately raising the limit to 95%.

Consumer Privacy
Supports the Privacy Act (1974) created to balance the government's need to maintain information about individuals with their rights to be protected against invasion of their privacy.
Invasion of privacy in many agencies, including Social Security.
Protect consumer agencies like Social Security against access to unauthorized persons.
Rehire those employed to protect and run consumer agencies.
Consumer Protections
Elimination of Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.

Courts
Project 2025 is crafted by the same forces that manufactured the takeover of our federal judiciary.
Their goal is a court system that backs the rights of the wealthiest.
A court system that establishes equal rights and justice. The President and all Departments (including DOJ and FBI) must obey the Courts.
A court system that limits the arbitrary assignment of judges. Perhaps judge selection at planned intervals or compulsory retirement.
Diversity
Claims that diversity initiatives for blacks, women, people with disabilities, and other minorities is “divisive.”
End diversity emphasis in government funded programs. The persons being appointed to cabinet positions are political hacks with very little competency for the positions. Loyalty to Trump overrides evrything else.
Recognizing that some groups are victims of discrimination. Still, the person selected must be skilled, knowledgeable and competent.
Put laws in place and enforce them for those who experience discrimination.
Education
Reduction of the role of federal government in education and the elevation of school choice and parents' rights. Education should be left to the states. Department of Education should be shut down.
Leave responsibility for education to the states.
Strengthen the Department of Education.
Create national standards to ensure that children are educated about the low points as well as high points of history and to respect the diversity that is our nation.
Elections
Criminalizing alleged voting fraud, which is not a real problem. Would end federal efforts by to combat online disinformation and threats to secure elections.

Firing of the Chairman of the Federal Election Commission that would allow gerrymandering and restrictions on voting rights.
FEC to become independent. John Lewis Voting Rights Act to be passed.

Reclassify federal civil service workers as political appointees. Replace them with those willing to enact the wishes of the president.
Workforce being drastically cut, regardless of the needs of the public.
Hire as many workers as needed to serve the public, restore rule of law, separation of powers, church and state, while monitoring to reduce waste. Committees by Congress and citizens to determine the services needed.
The size and duties of the Federal workforce should be determined based on studies by those who have the skills to assess what best serves the public. Protections for federal workers.
Foreign Affairs
Congressional approval not required for the sale of military equipment to foreign nations.
Pressure NATO members to increase military spending in order to confront threats from Russia and China.
U.S. Agency for International Development(USAID) would be dramatically curtailed.
Pressure on Europe to contribute more to NATO. USAID already being eliminated.
Congressional approval should be required for the sale of military equipment to foreign nations. USAID should be continued. Congress must approve ALL actions of War, attacks on other nations or groups, and declarations of War or Emergency
Congressional debate and approval needed to continue or drop foreign aid.
Health
Eliminate National Institutes of Health(NIH)
employees and remove DEI programs. Withdrawfrom World Health Organization. Limit abortion rights and access.
The firings at NIH continue as this is being written. US now intends to withdraw from WHO. RFK, now Health Secretary, is antivax.
Hire scientists who follow the consensus of health experts. Use vaccines to keep diseases at minimum, such as polio and diphtheria. Allow women to make personal choices.
Use USAID to support the health of individuals around the world which will also protect Americans from resurgent diseases.
Immigration
Mass deportation of immigrants.
ICE raids in numerous locations. Deportation of many of who may be in the US legally. Immigration judges are being fired.
Follow laws that allow immigrants into the country. Encourage governments where people are oppressed to move toward greater democratic principles.
Treat those who are trying to enter the country compassionately as possible. Hire more immigration judges. Acknowledge the contributions of immigrants.
Issues of Identity
Attacks "radical gender ideology.” Recognition of only heterosexual men and women. Removal of protection against discrimination on the basis of sexual or gender identity. Elimination of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI)—"state-sanctioned racism"
Executive order to eliminate transgender participation in athletic events. DEI already being eliminated.
Every human being should be honored and accepted for the identity chosen by that individual.
Laws to protect those who choose identities different from that with which they are born.
Journalism
“Administrationshould reexamine the balance between media demands and space constraints on the White House premises.”
Filed lawsuits against news organizations for their reporting. Barred an AP reporter and photographer from boarding the presidential airplane.
A free press is essential to maintaining a democracy.
Courts should support free press by throwing out frivolous lawsuits.
Justice
Suggests abolishing the Department of Homeland Security(DHS).
Weaponization of the Department of Justice and the FBI. Targeting of political opponents.
An FBI and DOJ totally independent of the President.
Change laws to make it illegal to target political and other opponents.
Law Enforcement
Proposes deploying the military for domestic law enforcement.
This already was done in Trump’s first term in response to riots after the George Floyd incident.
Restrict federal troops to foreign intervention except in case of a court order (Little Rock, 1959)
Enforce laws that protect everyone equally.
National Security
Identifies China as the leading threat to American national security. Recommends the prohibition of TikTok.
Tariffs imposed on Chinese imports and all imports.
Work toward trade agreements that focuses on the security of workers as well as corporations. Cooperation with allies for a fair global order. Joint Chiefs of Staff and General should only be confirmed and dismissed with consent of Congress.
Return to trade agreements to reduce tariffs and decrease costs to consumers. Return to congressional approval for war, coordinated with the UN Security Council and General Assembly.
Pornography
Should be banned. Criminal prosecutionfor producing pornography.
No clear position at this point.
People should be able to participate in private activities of their choice as long as no one else is hurt in the process.
Supreme Court has ruled against attempts to ban pornography on the grounds that it was protected by the First Amendment.
Religion
Government should "maintain a biblically based, social-science-reinforced definition of marriage and family."

Sex and Gender
Wants to restrict gender-affirming care. Prohibit transgender individuals from the military.

Federal Deficit
Taxes and Trade. Previous corporate tax rate reduced the corporate tax cut from 35% to 21% and gave a big tax cut to the wealthy.
Big added tax cut being planned for the rich with big cuts in social security, Medicare and Medicaid. Big increase in federal deficit.
Ramp the corporate tax rate back up from 21% to 35%, reduce defense spending by 20% from current levels and eliminate tax cuts for the wealthy.
Pass a new tax law that focusses on eliminating the federal deficit by ramping up taxes on corporations and the wealthy, and plateauing the Defense Budget. Social Security must be made solvent by increasing income caps, Medicaid must be protected (restored if cut) and there should be steps to have Medicare for All.
Economy
Protectionism policies but little on a comprehensive industrialization or jobs strategy. Big increases in inequality that worsens economic conditions for many
